Akash Bhadsavle

Akash Bhadsavle is an Actor, Director, and Producer known primarily for his work in Marathi theatre, where he performs, directs, and produces plays. He has also appeared in Marathi television series and films. Born on 9 February 1996 in Raigad, Maharashtra, India, Akash has been active in theatre for many years, including roles in historical plays. He is the founder of Sawaaigandharva Entertainment, a commercial theatrical production & event management company in Mumbai, India.

World Record Holder

On 9 October 2022, Akash Bhadsavle achieved a record in the Limca Book of Records for the most stage plays performed in a day (solo) by performing 12 shows of 3 different plays, each lasting 45 minutes.


This endurance feat was documented in the 2024 edition of the Limca Book of Records as the record for most stage plays performed in a day by a solo artist.

  • Akash Bhadsavle is a known actor and director in the Indian theatre industry, with a primary focus on Marathi theatre while also contributing to Hindi and English productions. He has been a dedicated theatre practitioner for many years, engaging in multiple facets of stage work including acting, direction, music, production, management, voicing, and dubbing.
  • He is particularly recognized for his portrayals of historical and character roles, such as Veer Savarkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Gopal Ganesh Agarkar, Ram Ganesh Gadkari, Saint Nivrutti, and Kranti Veer Babarao Savarkar, often in plays that explore social and political themes. His acting credits include the comedy-farcical play Vasu Chi Sasu. Other notable acting roles feature in Nathuram Godse Must Die (performed in both English and Hindi versions), Sukhanshi Bhandato Aamhi, and Hoy Mi Savarkar Boltoy, a political drama centered on Veer Savarkar.
  • In directing, Akash has led productions such as Dehabhan, Mai Savarkar Hoo (in Hindi), which examines the multifaceted political life of Veer Savarkar including his interactions with figures like Mahatma Gandhi and Subhash Chandra Bose, Yes My Dear (in Hindi), Sukhanshi Bhandato Aamhi, and Telepathy.
  • He is regarded as one of the prominent activists in Indian theatre. He made his television debut in the Marathi series Lakshya (2011). In 2018, he appeared in Garja Maharashtra as Gopal Ganesh Agarkar. The following year, he played a role in the series Saajanaa (2019).
  • In 2021, Akash took on the role of Gopal Ganesh Agarkar once more in the television special 'Tilak Ani Agarkar,' for which he also served as a producer. He has acted in the Marathi film Well Done Aai, released in 2025.
